How to Capture Videos for
Almond Yield Estimator
Before going to field make sure you have these

A drone with a full battery & an empty SD card

We recommend using 2160p60fps on all drones.

If you are able to set shutter speed, make sure it is between 1/1000 - 1/4000
-
Video compression of H264 is recommended (.mov format on DJI drones)

Make sure you'll comply with the local and national UAV, UAS and Drone regulations.

We do not and will not cover any losses and this is all voluntary.

We do not accept to pay for any damage to you, to your drone, to the orchard.
On the Field
-
Make sure there is a sunny sky with lots of sunshine
-
If you don't have a light meter, you can install any of the light meter apps on your android device to get at least 12000 lux of sunshine

Make sure you are flying between the advised wind speed limit.

Make sure you are at the field between 10:00 and 15:00

Make sure to limit flight speed at max 2m/s on smart flight modes, path flight modes and rotational flight modes.

Make sure the camera's field-of-view can see whole of the tree

Videos must look like something below
